David Crowe was a huge influence on the pioneering of
the airbrush artform throughout the 90's in the Indianapolis
area. His work was the main reason I got into airbrushing. He simply
had an "In your face" style in which really broke the boundaries of
everyday art. I remember being 24 years old and going down to the
CCA gallery in Broadripple and just staring at his work for 30
minutes straight just thinking of all of the possibilitys that
airbrush can lend itself to in the fine art and graphics realms. I
put David's work on my website as part of my own journey because I
truly feel that If I would not have seen this guy's work, I might
have not been inspired to follow through with my own passion. I also
need to emphasize that I feel like some of our dreams and our
"piviting" moments in our lives are mainly due to the
inspiration of that one or two
people that cross our paths. They seem to come out of
nowhere, and give us hope and somehow define us through their
passions. Some might call this God's will. Thank you David for
you brilliant art and your tremendous talent and limitless
boundaries. Your passion has started a new culture and awareness of
the airbrush artform and you need to be noted. You were my airbrush
teacher
