   90%  of airbrushers

   use this projector to

   meet deadlines and

                       is one of the biggest

                       secrets around!

This above  is called an opague projector. I need to tell you a little bit about this piece of equiptment. I will start off by saying that Micheal Angelo ( the famous artist) even used one of these for his artwork. This is hands down* one of the most important steps in your airbrush endeavors.  I have been airbrushing for 17 years and I had never even heard that artists use this thing until my 3rd year into airbrushing! Here's what it does......you can take ANY wallet to postcard size image and set it under this thing, and it will transfer an image in full color to a wall, carhood, leather jacket, piece of glass, signboard, and so on.  If anyone tells you its cheating then LET THEM SAY that, because your first and foremost concern is to make money!  It is my constituted belief that people can actually learn to draw with projectors, and if your ever using this thing to do custom murals, YOU NEVER LET THE CUSTOMER KNOW that you used it, and you add it on to your labor etc!money.gif

Heres whats even more fascinating in my experience of teaching close to ten years, and customizing in this field 17 years. THE ARTISTS ARE NOT ALWAYS the ones who do good at this skill! Mechanics, Lawyers, Accountants, Carpenters etc (anyone who seems to have fairly good tedium, and attention to detail), usually set just as good of a standard as the quote-unquote "artists". Good airbrushing is far more a result of excellent craftsmanship than it is random artistic talent.  In 1991, I paid  $69 for my projector and have made lots of money doing  carhoods, jackets, t's, signs, glass, furniture and much more!  The projector (exscuse the metaphor) is GOD CRAWLING DOWN YOUR ARM! It changes everything, ITS YOUR TALENT, and pulls alot of people into this field who have a drawing phobia* or neurosis of basic artistic composition!  Its my professional opinion that people should get a projector EVEN before they purchase an airbrush! Projectors can be bought for as low as $54 (just like the one above).

Yhuge secret resized.jpgou do not need a real expensive projector in the inception of this skill. The one pictured above is perfect for 95% of your needs! This piece of equiptment is where your airbrush career will start. Think of it...if you can project stuff, you have a sign-shop, a transfer machine for murals, t-shirts.. and on and on......you must understand my point here! I have no clue whythis secret has not been more exposed to the world of artists and artisans alike! ( Not to mention the general public). WELL MY FRIENDS, ITS EXPOSED NOW!
